So many fun & exciting projects await your child after school this year! From kindergarten through 5th grade, every young artist will discover the elements of art, the principles of design and how to put them all together to create their own original works of art.

Our hands-on curriculum focuses on developing skills and practicing fundamentals allowing every student to gain confidence in his or her work.

Opportunities to experiment with new mediums and art forms make learning fun. This year's focus will be on studying artists, movements and styles—both past and present—to make art come alive for young students.

Projects we will work on through the year may include:
• painting with acrylics and watercolors;
• color theory;
• drawing with pencil, charcoal, oil & chalk pastels;
• printing with screens & woodblocks, monoprints
and collographs;
• sculpting with clay, wire, paper or other materials.

We are so excited about meeting your little artist and helping him or her grow as a confident and creative young person.

Dates

2017-18 Classes will begin on ____ and will follow the district schedule through the last week of May. Makeup classes will be announced as necessary if Asheland Studios has to cancel a regularly scheduled class for any reason.

Costs

A $45 registration fee must be paid when you enroll to secure your child's place in the class. All payments are made with PayPal for your security.

The $45 monthly fee includes supplies and is set up as a recurring charge through PayPal for your convenience and security. The monthly fee applies beginning in September and running through May.

Please note that the first month's total cost will be $90 since both the registration fee and the monthly fee are due before classes begin in September.

Students not picked up by 4:10 will be taken to the after school care on site and arrangements can be made with them for pick up.

Disclaimer: I understand that by submitting this registration, I am releasing Asheland Studios, Inc., the elementary school chosen above, Richland School District 2 and all other staff and affiliates from any and all liability for personal injury and/or property loss and damage which my child/ren may incur as a result of participation in art lessons. I also understand that by registering my child for Art After School, I am giving my consent for videos and photos taken during class to be used for promotional purposes only.

Please remember that on months with fewer class dates, the remaining fee goes toward supplies. Please give 30 days written notice if withdrawing from the program to avoid additional charges and for ongoing projects to be finished.
